I recently found out that I accidentally signed up for a domain with Dreamhost.  Instead of me just wasting the domain name, I thought of transferring this whole blog to this Dreamhost domain.

Ruffa Gutierrez moving to ABC 5

It is official now.  Ms. Ruffa  Gutierrez is transferring to ABC 5 of Manny Pangilinan.    Ruffa has personally asked permission from the management of the Kapamilya Network.
Ruffa's camp said that they could not resist the offer of Channel 5.  She  now joins numerous stars who moved from channel 2 to channel 5, which includes Dolphy and Maricel Soriano.

Melai on The Bottomline

I took one cup of coffee at around 9:30 PM  hoping to catch The Bottomline last night for   Melai Cantiveros was the guest.  But then as I lay my back on my bed, I was completely knocked off.    When I woke up, I  already saw  the credits of the show.  OMG!!!  I missed it. 

I searched immediately online if the Melai episode was already uploaded.  And there it iwas  This part is where you get to watch the funniest, the most honest and the sincerest answers of her.   

Personally, she may be not that appealing to others, but for me, like what Mr. Boy Abunda has said, she has a beautiful soul.  She is confident of what she is and how she is.  She proves to me that there is so much more to physical beauty.  What is important is what is inside a person's heart.  And for me, Melai has a heart of gold.

Tiger to give remarks on Friday

Tiger Woods will be speaking to a small group of friends, colleagues and close associates at 11:00 a.m. EST (12:00 AM Manila Time-Saturday) on Friday at the TPC Sawgrass Clubhouse in Ponte Vedra Beach, Fla. Tiger plans to discuss his past and his future, and he plans to apologize for his behavior. 

While Tiger feels that what happened is fundamentally a matter between him and his wife, he also recognizes that he has hurt and let down a lot of other people who were close to him. He also let down his fans. He wants to begin the process of making amends, and that's what he's going to discuss. 

His remarks will be open to a press pool for live coverage. It is NOT a news conference.

There was an article in one tabloid about a very popular Philippine actress.  Said article was reported as a blind item.  I do have my own guess and I wonder if  your guess will also be same as mine.

Supreme Court voids appointment of Len Bautista

Supreme Court has voided the appointment of Len Bautista as acting administrator of Marina.  The Supreme Court has ruled her appointment unconstitutional on grounds that she was also holding the post of undersecretary for maritime transport at the Department of Transportation and Communications (DOTC).  The Marina administrator must be checked by the undersecretary for transport, and naming one person for the two posts would remove check and balance.

Until now, the bodies were not yet recovered from the ill-fated Princess of the Stars that capsized during the rage of typhoon Frank.  Since the Romblon tragedy, there were still a series of mishap involving sea vessels. 
While these were going on, Ms. Bautista still managed to tour in Europe.   There were reports that certain officials, politicians influenced the administrator from doing further investigation.  This only shows how incompetent she is.  As DZRH reported, a case should have been filed against her for causing innocent lives to perish in the series of sea mishaps. ........

Melai the big winner of PBB Double Up

After almost 19 weeks, the newest big winner is named under the person of Melisa "Melai" Cantiveros.
Congratulations to Melai  for winning the 1st place of the PBB Double Up Edition.

Second runner up is Paul Jake. 3rd place goes to Jason.  The fourth placer is Johan and 5th is Tibo. ........

From 2 to 5

From 2 to 5.  Yes. It is not the shifting schedule of an employee.  I am referring to the transfer of ABS-CBN artists to ABC 5. 

We do  know that the King of Comedy, Dolphy had made the big switch signing with ABC 5, which is headed by Mr. Manny Pangilinan of PLDT.

Not only Dolphy made the big switch.  Ms. Luchi Cruz-Valdez, formerly from GMA-7 now heads  the  TV5 News and Public Affairs division.


Last Sunday was the last day of Ms. Cheryl Cosim with the Kapamilya  Network.  She is now with ABC 5 as well.  It was reported that Ms. Cosim was offered thrice her current salary.

Well, who would not want to grab that offer, right?

Mel Gibson lashes out on a reporter

Mel Gibson is back with a new movie via Edge of Darkness.  The Braveheart  star  has been on hiatus from  the movie scene for a long time after controversies such as the arrest, DUI, that had  sidelined him for 3 long years, citing his completion of a 3-year probation and he was also arrested 2006 involving an anti-Semitic rant.

His movie, Edge of Darkness got a  review saying that  the movie is violent.  It will make you squirm in your seat.  It was not only in his movie that  violence got evident, he became so when he lashed out on a reporter  when asked about his past controversies.  He obviously got irked and after that, he said A-hole to the reporter.

A lot of celebrities who had been involved in alcohol and drug controversies get easily pissed off when questioned about it.  Perhaps,  Mr. Gibson got tired already of answering the same questions over and over again. Better that they do  not just get drug rehabilitated but they also need to be coached that these lines of questioning are inevitable.   So, keep it cool, Mel!!!  ........

Tintin Bersola-Babao gave birth to a baby boy, 01 February 2010.  Julius announced it on his Twitter account.
The baby will be named  Antonio Francesco Babao.  I would like to congratulate the couple for having cute baby boy.

Kristine Hermosa and Oyo Boy Sotto are reported to be jetting off to the United States of America to get married.  Reports from stir.ph said that they both confirmed their relationship. This could already vouch what Kristine said before na may patutunguhan ang current relationship niya.
