From Dick Clark to Ryan Seacrest for the live ball drop in Times Square

When Dick Clark suffered a massive stroke, Ryan Seacrest was chosen to host to bring in New Year Eve on the famous special enjoyed by people from around the world. The television special connects the audience with the crowd bringing live performances.  Viewers are given a perfect view for watching the famous Waterford crystal ball drop during the last 30 seconds before 2010 becomes reality.
Dick Clark made an appearance on Broadway along with his wife, Kari Wigton as they watched the ball drop in Times Square in New York City.
